Material:


  • Maida- 2 cup,
  • Baking powder - 1 tablespoons,
  • Ghee-half cup,
  • Sugar- 2 cup,
  • Cardamom: 4-5,
  • Saffron: 1/4 spoon,
  • Water - as per requirement
  • Oil for frying

Recipe-


  • In a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, ghee and mix well,
  • Then add water to it and knead the dough and cover for 15 minutes.
  • Take 1 tablespoons water in a bowl and add 1/4 spoon saffron to it and soak it.
  • Now add 1 cups of water in a pan on a gas and add 2 cups of sugar to it and stir well.
  • Keep stirring until the sugar is well cooked,
  • Once it is firm enough to cook, add saffron water and mix it.
  • Remove the pan from the side and let it cool.
  • Now mix the prepared flour with the hand.
  •  Make small balls of it and fry them in hot oil.
  • Keep the fried balushahi in the sugar mix (those who don't like too much sweet keep them out of the sugar mix ).
  • Now BaluShahi is ready to eat.
